On this date in 1970, the First Moog Quartet debuted at Carnegie Hall, marking the first time a Moog synthesizer made an appearance inside that hallowed venue. The man behind that project was composer Gershon Kingsley and we have the very Moog Modular that Kingsley used at that and on classic tracks like "Popcorn". Here's an excerpt from our Sonic Test Drive featuring Mike Hunter @ombient freestyling on Kingsley's Moog. #moogsynthesizer #gershonkingsley #moog #analogsynthesizer #modularsynth
