I had an amazing time working on better boyfriend in 2024. It was my first film of the year, and once I read the script I was instantly hooked on the story. I knew right away that I had my work cut out for me in order to bring the wardrobe to life, and match Eliana’s vision. It was such a fun journey for me to be able to style the unique character looks from Trent’s messy boyfriend looks, to Eva’s ice cream parlour uniform where I got to make custom name tags to enhance the looks. One of my favourite memories on set to look back on, was holding the ice cream cones in between takes at Melanie Pringle’s restaurant. It was such a hot day so I remember the ice cream melting really fast, and us having to replace them at least twice, while I just stood off to the side and padded down the dripping cones with napkins to try to make them as presentable as possible.
