Velvet Mare captures the constant transformation of matter as an almost alchemical act, freezing fluid inner landscapes, geological processes, and suspended movement in glass.
Presented this year at Alcova during Milan Design Week as part of @off_grid.collective

Parasitica and Fungus series are still on display at @alcova.milano . The exhibition, set within the incredible Military Baggio Hospital, is coming to an end. Tomorrow is the final day. Don’t miss it.✨

For years I’ve worked in digital graphics as Morska Panda. Now continuing to translate it into glass through screenprinting with glass powder.

Material experimentation is central to David’s practice. He often works through organic, spontaneous processes, such as the free casting of noble bronze, to let the material shape the outcome.
This lamp brings together glass, bronze, glass fragments, and epoxy, resulting in a piece that sits closer to an art object than a conventional light.
On view at Alcova Milano, Stecca S16, until Sunday.

@mila_zila approaches glass as an intuitive process that respects its natural behaviour as a metaphor of an authentic being. She combines objects with light, opening further dimensions of perception and the relationship between material and space.
See you from tomorrow at Alcova.

Michaela Spružinová works with the body in a radically different way. She questions beauty stereotypes and consumer fetishes just as provocatively as she consciously rejects traditional technological processes. She composes “hobby” material in the form of glass beads into narrative images, serving as a medium for personal commentary and stories.

In the work of @irenaczepcova , the boundary between object and space becomes blurred; through shifts in perspective, functional design transforms into sculptural object or spatial element. Strict forms become landscapes where the body leaves its trace, where glass discovers its corporeality.
On view at Alcova Milano from April 20.
