OF A GARDEN: Slow Dream

Winner, Floristry Ambassadors’ Award, 2026

Over the last few days, Slow Dream has been taking shape @the_rhs Chelsea Flower Show.

Part of OF A’s ongoing exploration of the “garden as object”, the installation reimagines the garden as a living sculptural environment.

Created by @ofaspace, with the floral landscape developed in collaboration with @wagnerjk and  @fridakim_london, Slow Dream unfolds as a dark botanical world shaped by burning, growth and renewal, with volcanic rock from Iceland forming part of its terrain.

The planting includes Himalayan blue poppies, papaver, cobra lilies, tree ferns, black stockings thalictrum, wind nymphs, maidenhair vine, echium, carnivorous sarracenia and dense mosses, creating a shadowy botanical landscape suspended between geology and dreamworld.
