I’m so thankful to my cast of dancers who went on this quick exploration with me (we had about 5 hrs total of rehearsal as an ensemble :o) and for their trust in the process. A short Screendance work inspired by my many failed attempts of passing a CAPTCHA test while interrogating the accessibility of these things. This work was made in collaboration with some incredible humans. I was really excited to work with @one_eyed_hound for the composition as we both like to approach things through research before creating something. As a result, he incorporated Maya Angelou’s voice along with a melody that actually spells out the word HUMAN in binary (the language of machines) throughout the track ◽️◼️
