I began sewing professionally at 17, working in and around the garment district of downtown Los Angeles. Though I don’t have a formal education in fashion, every bit of my technical skill has been passed down to me by my mom Justine, a seamstress and designer herself, and my friend and mentor, Jaime Lopez, from León, Mexico—a lifelong leather craftsman.
About a year ago, Jaime and I started creating these pieces together in his old studio in Vernon. Inspired by the feminine chaos and raw beauty of gritty Los Angeles, this collection is a reflection of that spirit. Enjoy! 🤍
