Join us Saturday April 25th at 7:PM in the Grace Exhibition Kingston Shirt Factory studio #113 (77 Cornell st. Kingston, NY) for THE Q:ENTITY’S 5th and final stage!
Clara Diamond and I started this project back in 2015. A lot has happened since then. This final iteration of the project asks: “What even IS the Q:ENTITY?” We don’t know but we are seeking order.
If you see Weirdo’s News volume 1 around town, pick it up to find out what Q was trying to communicate back in 2015.

Here’s me and fearless art pal @p.e.y.t.0.n
We built this performance around unpredictability, responsiveness, and what happens near the edge of failure.
In rehearsing, we practiced balancing our bodies while negotiating time, space, breath and sound. We figured out how to commit fully even when things got wobbly. It was playful and responsive, we laughed while falling apart, and hollered with excitement when something worked out that shouldn’t have.
I keep wondering what actually makes art “risky”? Is it physical danger, emotional exposure, loss of control, trusting another person, or committing to something unknown?
Thanks @scaredycat16 for organizing and inviting us to perform at @mountidapreservation and to @matthewklanewithmouthtrumpet for capturing our spectacular moment.
