A commissioned dining table for a modern CLT-built family home in the Netherlands. Personal from the start: I grew up in this lush landscape, gardens, leafy edges, an orchard next door, the IJsseldelta close by. That quiet green rhythm is what shaped the design.
Built from slender FSC-certified ash slats in a sandwich construction, strength with lightness. The grid beneath the top echoes orchard rows and marks the rhythm of the seats it carries. 220 Γ 80 cm, room for more than eight. Topped with matte brown linoleum: soft to the touch, kind to plates, and subtly improving the acoustics of the room.
Made with a regional craftsman from Overijssel. Honest materials, meticulous construction, finished in Osmo matte oil wax. A centerpiece built to hold a family for generations.

Some projects are born from fascination.
A stubborn obsession to create, to visualize, to just play, to start making without fully knowing the outcome.
BONNE TRIVET grew out of that urge.
The tension between small batch production and industrial processes, engraving the logo with my own tools, designing packaging within the limits of standardisation. It keeps pushing me to make, to refine, to keep going.
