Restart, by @jacobjonasthecompany, considers the psychological aftermath of illness—making sense of life and death, light and darkness, and everything in between. And all the guests along the way. Restart is about soil: found often for construction, during death to bury one’s flesh into the earth, or in a garden to bring new seeds to life. This questions if one can begin again and re-enter into their deepest humanity. If the question of what happened could be answered and the wounds it left could be healed.

2015 — 22 years old. Fresh college grad. Joined @p.e.a.c.e.band . Moved to LA with @calvinmartinjr on a $41 one-way with less than $2K saved. Living room was my bedroom, no car, no furniture, no WiFi. Dream: sing background and travel the world. Ephesians 3:20.

2016 — Reality check. Odd jobs, open mics, nonstop networking—on foot and public transit. Booked first TV gigs (AGT, Latin AMAs). Finally got a bed.🛌

2017 — Self-built artist development era. “Sing like it’s your last time.” Launched Live[NOW], hosted vocal masterclasses, started a scholarship. First artist gigs (@kennylattimore , @ddlovato). Quit my job, produced a Disneyland show, got a car.🚘

2018 — Vision board year. Coachella with @beyonce → OTR II World Tour. Global travel, albums, The Lion King, Homecoming, Black Is King.

2019 — Sunday Service Collective. Creative team, global impact, IMAX film, multiple albums. Composed/conducted 3 operas. First national commercial.

2020 — Released my first single. The world shut down.

2021 — Went all-in as an artist. Second single, better visuals, dance training. More vocal production and contracting.

2022 — Grammy performance with @johnlegend. House band gigs, my own shows, touring and creative producing.

2016 — Reality check. Odd jobs, open mics, nonstop networking—on foot and public transit. Booked first TV gigs (AGT, Latin AMAs). Finally got a bed.🛌

2017 — Self-built artist development era. “Sing like it’s your last time.” Launched Live[NOW], hosted vocal masterclasses, started a scholarship. First artist gigs (@kennylattimore , @ddlovato). Quit my job, produced a Disneyland show, got a car.🚘

2018 — Vision board year. Coachella with @beyonce → OTR II World Tour. Global travel, albums, The Lion King, Homecoming, Black Is King.

2019 — Sunday Service Collective. Creative team, global impact, IMAX film, multiple albums. Composed/conducted 3 operas. First national commercial.

2020 — Released my first single. The world shut down.

2021 — Went all-in as an artist. Second single, better visuals, dance training. More vocal production and contracting.

2022 — Grammy performance with @johnlegend. House band gigs, my own shows, touring and creative producing.

2023 — Vocal produced Lizzo’s Grammy choir. Chose the path of producing and directing big moments.

2024 — House band at NAACP Image Awards & full season of @americanidol. Toured with Hans Zimmer Live. Produced for @dojacat (Tonight Show, Scarlet Tour).

2025 — @kendricklamar Super Bowl tribute (4M+ views). Vocal producing/contracting for major albums, @zacbrownband Sphere residency, @spitfireaudio vocal sample pack. Grateful for 9 Grammy-nominated projects in 10 years.
