Saw @theprodigyofficial in Dublin recently and yeah… full circle moment.

First time in 3Arena as well, usually I’m all about the smaller, intimate spaces, but they PACKED it. Proper mixed crowd, all ages, everyone singing, everyone going in. One of those nights where it just feels united. I never left the floor.

Grew up on that sound. Essex roots, my Dad rinsing tapes, Bagley’s stories, pirate radio in the background… that gritty, rave energy was always in background. Thought I was just listening to tunes at the time, but really it was shaping everything.

Even remember being at a rave in Chelmsford, my mate got GPS co-ordinates from the pirate radio we were listening to and he typed them in on his delivery van PDA (there were no smart phones then). We call down and it’s on a farm. When we get there my mate tells me “the Proggogee are here” 😂 no clue what was going on, but possibly my first time seeing the main 3 (Liam, Maxim and Keith). I’ve seen them so many times since. Dublin didn’t disappoint.

What a night it was in the 3arena. Big up Carl Cox as well… three decks, shelling 90s bits I’ve literally got on record (SL2 - way in my brain, top track). What a vibe. Madness.

Moments like that just remind me where my influences come from… rave, breaks, jungle… it’s always been there. Thanks to my Dad and fascination of pirate radio.

Shoutout @dj_bagheera97 for the drive and the crew on the trip 🚗
One of the best nights I’ve had in a long time.

BLANK BLANK BLANK
a response to the pressures of modern electronic music.
where the artist can often become the spectacle, and the focus shifts away from the thing that brought us here in the first place, the sound.

this project asks a simple question. what happens when you take the artist focus away?

we tested this concept a few months back in a small room. no visible performer. no focal point to fixate on. Just visuals. what followed was something deeper. the audience connected through the music. the visuals became a direct response to sound, shifting and moving in real time. something you could watch, but more importantly something you could feel.

electronic music has always come from a place of togetherness. a space where identity softens and people meet on equal ground through rhythm and shared experience. that sense of liminality on the dancefloor where nothing else really matters. this is an attempt to return to that. to create an environment where the attention is not pulled toward a person, but toward a collective moment.

for the artists, it opened something up too. without the weight of being seen, there was space to fully drop into flow. no pressure to perform, no expectation to entertain in a traditional sense. just a connection to the sound and the freedom to explore it.

inspired by artists pushing audio visual work forward, we’re exploring this in a stripped back, DIY way. using the tools we have, building visuals from sound, and shaping an experience that sits somewhere between music and art. a full community effort.

BLANK BLANK BLANK is an intimate experimental audio visual performance that reimagines how audiences experience electronic music ⚡️

The artist performs hidden behind a suspended sheet while their shadow and sound reactive visuals are projected to the audience. Instead of focusing on the performer, attention shifts toward sound, movement and atmosphere.

Big ups to @sulture.ie x @lee_promotions for having me down April 17 .

Proper fun jungle night done right… Rise Up stacks in, dark room, camo netting, full energy start to finish.

Honoured to close it out 🙏🏼
Lineup was serious, sick to see female junglists repping strong (shout to all @ornatobin @rebelloniion and @djleezur ). Caught some class sets and lovely seeing Outlaw’d heads + familiar faces in the crowd… always means a lot ❤️

Went full chaos mode on this one 😈
Leant right into the darker, heavier jungle + proper hardcore bits… the kinda set you don’t always get to run.

Had someone come up to me after and say the way I was mixing and the tracks I was playing brought them into a proper reflective headspace, like they could slow down and really think about themselves. Ironically playing high BPM. They actually thanked me for that, which is mad when you think about it. That one stayed with me. There’s something powerful in longer blends, less rush, more feeling. Really appreciated the share 🫶🏼

Respect to everyone who pulled up + supported. Big love to the crews pushing it forward 🤝

This bank holiday weekend there’s so many events, make sure to show some love to other crews. Loads happening in Cork + beyond, get out and support, grab your tickets early 🎟️

Next one for me: @corkfringe Festival, May 9 w/BLANK BLANK BLANK
Tickets via Cork Fringe Festival site and in my bio.

Thanks to @rebelloniion for the 📹

Tracks:
Slide 2: @bruk.uk - Night Booty
Slide 3: @radicalldnb - Ruffneck
Slide 6: @addisongroove U Luv // @soeneido Energetic
Slide 8: @pololilli - Olive - You’re not alone

A few of you have messaged for the mix so I might record it 👀

BLANK, BLANK, BLANK is an intimate experimental audio visual performance that reimagines how audiences experience electronic music.

Live visuals respond directly to the music being created, forming a dialogue between sound and projection. By removing the performer’s visible identity, the work encourages deeper listening, reduced phone use and a heightened sense of immersion. The result is a shared sensory environment where audiences feel inside the performance rather than simply watching it.
