20 years ago, @parishilton made advertising history with Carl’s Jr. You know the one: a Bentley, a bucket of suds, and a burger. Cut to 2026:

Carl’s Jr. teams up with Native Foreign to bring Paris back to the car wash. But things have changed - she’s not washing the cars by hand herself anymore. She’s doing what any reasonable human being would do in the age of hashtag#ai - build an army of bots to do the work for her!

She’s the boss now - rocking a custom designed pink racing outfit designed by esteemed fashion designer Michael Ngo.

The Famous Star is @carlsjr most iconic burger. And Paris knows a thing or two about being an iconic famous star. Hence, the Famous Starwash.

By design, much of the campaign was created using generative production. That said, this was far from a one-button process. Thousands of human decisions on casting, wardrobe, and shot iterations - with dozens of passes of refinement from the Native Foreign team brought it to life.

We also wanted the real Paris in the spot, to in fact be the REAL Paris. So we did a shoot with her to capture that IRL magic.

Thanks to the incredible team at @nativeforeign.co and all our tech partners like @freepik that helped make this ambitious spot! In total, more than 100 people collaborated to make this spot a reality.

2025 - the year that felt like 𝟓 wrapped up in one. My company @nativeforeign.co shipped over 𝟑𝟖 client projects, pushed forward 𝟓+ original IPs, and I somehow fit in over 𝟕𝟎 speaking engagements all around the world. The most important stat I’m reserving for the video - watch below to catch it!

Big stuff happening

𝗪𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗜 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.

𝘾𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙯 started as a AI short we made with Chad Nelson utilizing EARLY tools. Now it’s evolving into a full-length feature with the writers of Paddington in Peru - and yes, it’s officially copyrighted.

That last part? Not easy. But with help from Lisa Oratz and Perkins Coie, we went through our process on a recent panel: human authorship can shine through AI. Just be sure you “show your work” 😉

We brought The Mermaids to life. Then we told their story at Cannes. 🧜‍♀️⚓️🎥

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗱𝘀: 𝗔 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲 is an AI-generated cinematic story that brings the four mermaids (Scarlet, Valiant, Brilliant, and Resilient - that represent each ship in the Virgin fleet) to life in a way that blended mythology, modernity, and machine learning. From archetype to animation, it was a journey powered by tech but grounded in emotion.

🧠 We spoke about the process at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity
💡 And most importantly - it still took a full crew to make it happen. AI didn’t replace the team; it expanded what we could do together.

🎬 Creating Film Noir vibes with AI?
This is one of the first noir clips I ever made. Here’s my secret sauce for making your own:

1️⃣ What are your characters doing? Give them really specific instructions.

2️⃣ Nail the lighting and medium: Sharp shadows, soft glow. For example- Shot on 16mm film with grain.

3️⃣ Be ready for collaboration: your prompts may take you down some unexpected journeys. Roll with it.

AI filmmaking is art - your prompts are the brushstrokes.
