A new little sign!

Bibingka galapong: A fluffy rice cake made with yeast, baked in a banana leaf and topped with fresh shredded coconut. Secret menu: top it off with grated cured egg yolk!

Cassava cake: tender (yet sproingy) cassava root with ribbons of young coconut, topped with condensed milk.

It’s Suman! Sticky rice cooked in coconut milk with a bit of sugar and salt, wrapped in a banana leaf and steamed. Topped with latik and brown sugar.

I’ll be slingin’ sweets at @nowservingla on Saturday 4/4 from 2:30pm-5:30pm. In addition to bibingkas, I’ll be selling slices of cassava cake and biko - sticky rice with coconut and brown sugar.

And starting today, you can preorder bibingka boxes to pick up. (Just bibingkas, for now!) Each box contains 4 bibingkas for $22. The final day to preorder is Thursday 4/2. Please DM me with your order and send your payment to nananu_ka on Venmo.

I’m cooking up Tortang Talong and Bibingkas at @agoodusedbook this Sunday (3/29) from 12pm- 4pm. There’ll be all kinds of good things and good folks. Hope to see you there!

Tomorrow is the last day to preorder a bibingka box!

Each box contains 4 bibingkas for $22. Pick-up will be in Echo Park on 12/24 from 11am to 4pm.
