Today marks the release of @wickedmovie and we couldn’t be happier to have been part of the journey to Oz with the incredible @nbcuniversal team 💚💕✨

We are privileged to have worked on so many initiatives, including:

@westfieldlondon - we designed a multi-sensory journey into the world of the film, complete with spectacular sets, photo moments, behind-the-scenes imagery, iconic props, and the scents & sounds of Oz. The experience was extended with a yellow brick road trail across both Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City, featuring 13 retail partners.

@greggs_official - We brought the Yellow Bake Road to life through an iconic (and delightfully unexpected) collaboration that transformed stores in London Leicester Square and The Trafford Centre into Oz-inspired bakeries. Shoppers lined up for exclusive cups, and a @justeatuk partnership helped fans take a little piece of the Yellow Bake Road home.

@bfifilmacademy - We designed and curated a behind-the-scenes exhibit as part of the London Film Festival, featuring an exclusive first look at the film’s costumes. Seeing director Jon M. Chu take it in was a true highlight.

Experiential Strategy & Design - Building on the gravity-defying photo moments and immersive concepts of the first film, we created a theming kit of elevated, Insta-worthy real-world experiences designed to spark audience engagement, participation and brand love.

Global Partnerships & Retail - We developed the film’s creative vision for partnerships and retail with core guides that provided unification and impact, across in-store, on-pack, OOH, and online touchpoints. The movie’s promotional campaign has been unprecedented with the assets leveraged by hundreds of partners around the world.

MXW partnered with the Global Consumer Products team to concept the annual celebration day for the Elf brand, encouraging audiences around the world to share their joy for the beloved film.

This month we had the privilege of seeing the @disneyplus Content Showcase come to life at Frameless, an immersive digital gallery in Marble Arch, London. 

The event was an opportunity to thank partners for their support and marked one year of advertising on Disney+ in Europe by showcasing some of the unmissable content coming to the platform.

We’ve had the pleasure of collaborating closely with the Disney Advertising and Disney+ Teams and @organichq to design a deeply engaging experience. MXW created a dynamic walkthrough, featuring animated panels that showcased the standout moments from Disney+ over the past year, as well as designing the main event presentation which was set in a breathtaking 360 surround.
