⛓️here, a clip from a seminal performance by MV Carbon which is Just one among innumerable mesmerizing ones (this one collaborative) in her oeuvre…. it is definitely among our favs! ⛓️
MV Carbon (NY) is a multidisciplinary artist exploring the transformative
relationship between sound, space, and place. Her practice investigates how sound andtechnology can be used to reveal information, shape spatial perception, and generate
new aesthetic relationships to space and time. Speculative sound synthesis shapes her
process and musical output. Decay and repetition expose the underlying architecture of sound, where the present melds with the future and spatial resonance emerges.
We’re honoured to host her upcoming performance and can’t wait to see the direction her diverse artistry will take…
She and guest Dj Bo1led Angel join us for a special Double Header Sat 9th May.

Monday May 12th 8:00pm $15
at the same ol' secret location in
Long Island City, DM for the address.
Austin Larkin
MV Carbon
Brain Chase & Tom Hamilton
Austin Larkin is a composer primarily working with violin, bells, and sirens. His performance and practice is informed by research into dimensions of vibrating bodies.
MV Carbon is a multimedia artist, musician, composer, and performer.Prioritizing sound exploration, she blends minimalistic approaches with densely layered soundscapes, incorporating dissonance, glitchy textures, and unpredictable rhythms.
Brian Chase is the drummer for rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs, NYC’s experimental music community and Drums and Drones, a solo project with a compositional focus on the harmonic resonances of drums and percussion. Brian will be playing with
Tom Hamilton, who has has composed and performed electronic music for over 50 years. His music references the 1970s era of analog electronics, contrasting structure with improvisation and textural electronics with acoustic instruments, voices, and other sound objects; prompting the use of “present-time listening” by both performer and listener.
In other words, another banger evening.
