A mix of video, 35mm and digital photography contributions for ‘MARKED’, an exhibition @ncca_darwin with @darwinstreetartfestival which opened on Thursday.
Highlight vid shot on the opening night with my VX2100.
Thanks to @uncooldaybed and @shay_wimmie they curated a fantastic show. I used over 1000 nails to install the photo section. It’s on display until July 11th, come through and check it out.

EU adventures on @surlybikes 2022. I never made a post about this trip, but I’ve been searching my archives and found these gems.
Sheffield to Barcelona, solo riding through France via Bordeaux. Some trains connecting the way too, not the entire distance pedalled, but a beautiful few months of riding.
BMX bikes were loaned by connects @nathangoring in LDN and @banosdistro in Bordeaux. Eternal thanks to them for their hospitality and generosity.

Film shot during @privatefunction69 first and only UK tour in 2025. I spent most of my time on the road shooting video for a clip which will be released soon, but managed to burn through a couple of rolls of B&W in between filming.
It’s Private Function’s last show this weekend. A formidable force of live music energy, they’ve etched their mark on the Australian punk scene. PF forever on top.

📝 I wrote a long gratitude list for 2025 while in Morocco. Can’t recommend this practice enough.
🫂 In the end, it’s always friends and family that make it for me, year after year. Grateful to my pals, old and new that I’ve connected with in the past twelve months & to my fam that always have my back.
🌞 Fond memories captured on 35mm film from the last solar lap. There are many more moments/people that weren’t captured on old cameras & I love them all.
🎞️ Additional dbl/split frame shots by @calvinkosovich
🌈 No better time to thank the people you love. It’s not all rainbows and waterfalls out here, Instagram tows a twisted line between perfect people lifestyles and live-streamed gen0cide. (I’m trying to cut it down using an app called Opal that reduces access).

🌈 No better time to thank the people you love. It’s not all rainbows and waterfalls out here, Instagram tows a twisted line between perfect people lifestyles and live-streamed gen0cide. (I’m trying to cut it down using an app called Opal that reduces access).

📝 I wrote a long gratitude list for 2025 while in Morocco. Can’t recommend this practice enough.

After decades of requests from the community, and around 8 years for the latest campaign, the new skatepark for Mparntwe/Alice Springs officially opened on December 19th 2025.
It has been a long and arduous process. Starting with petitions, numerous council meetings (the skatepark community formed the second largest turn out to a scheduled monthly council meeting in Alice Springs history), conversations with stakeholders, planning with skatepark designers/manufacturers, media liasing, proving the need for new facilities like this, events, merch and passionate desire for new infrastructure to grind.
There are so many people who have showed up for this, more than can be named here. But everyone who spoke up, even in the days where previous mayors/councillors swept it under the carpet; vocalising a need was immeasurably valuable in securing this new space we have today. It was always something to reference back to journalists and within the meetings.
Back in the day, skateshop owner Matt Day made it known. Born & shred skaters like Rainer Chlander and Matt Price also vocalised the need to the media/council and pushed as young fellas.
As this latest campaign gained momentum, Rolling All Directions (RAD) formed as an incorporated association to solidify the presence of what was previously known as ‘the skatepark user group’ for the formalities of communication between the community and council. The group worked hard to get the design and completion of the park solidified. Core team; Matty Redbeard, Maddi, Cairns, Char, Seun, Storm & I.
Playce, the design company were a pleasure to work with, they truely listened to the community’s ideas and concepts for design. Their communication was on point.
People will travel far and wide to session this park. It increases liveability. Most importantly, it will serve generations of young people and families with a free space to express themselves, be active and build community.
There were a lot of people who said they’d believe it when they see it. Well, seeing is believing. Congrats everyone, this is a solid push for the town and it’s just the beginning.

Cameo clips from the latest @nothingswrongbmx X @sandmbicycles edit ‘Yeah, Naarm!’, shot by @eggmanbmx & @jimmah_ plus a bonus clip @blackwoods_trails by Flagz. Filmed last summer. I’m so hyped to be posting riding footage again.
Here’s an excerpt from an interview I did recently with @penumbrabmx about the project…
“A personal memorable moment (from making ‘Yeah, Naarm!’) was being able to ride BMX again. I had to take a whole year off of riding in 2024 due to the worst injury I’ve ever sustained. I’m still dealing with this chronic situation and it’s slowed me down from riding this year too, but front-side pedal grinding a legit street hubba was something I thought I’d never do again. The risk Is way higher now. Getting a couple of clips was a massive bonus. Filming this video got me out carving the streets again, and I’d say that’s one of the things I’m most stoked about.
Riding trails (shout-out BLKWDS), just chilling through the party line, but non the less, jumping bikes; will make me never take riding BMX for granted again. Enjoy every day your body feels good and allows you to send it. You never know when the tables can turn”.
