I was thinking about the way I respond to my daughter each night when she asks 'Are Monsters Real?' - in a modern world where way too many are clearly showing their blood-stained teeth and palms with no repercussions or care for the fragility of this life and its children.

This poem came out of those thoughts.

Was incredible to perform at @chipshop_bxtn in Brixton, London last night. I don't know if I've seen a venue that bleeds hip hop so purely.

I love this music and culture.
