After months of work and years of wanting this to be a real thing, I can finally share my functional OG Kanto Pokedex! This was a labor of love made by me and @bigrigcreates I designed all of the hardware and he made the software magic that brings it to life (he's also the "voice" of this Dexter). This is probably the most complex handheld gadget that I've ever made. The case is SLA resin printed with my @formlabs Form4 and machined aluminum that I milled with my @makera.official Carvera Air. It has a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4, an ESP32S3, a Raspberry Pi Pico 2, and five fully functional displays! Many many months and over $1000 later, we have a real life weighted companion cube in our living room! I can’t take any credit other than editing the video lol. Very very happy with it and sorry for the horizontal footage, it was made for reddit and not instagram lol

HUGE shoutout to @mr.v0lt for this design! We used his video on youtube to make this with only a few minor tweaks and changes as needed. His channel was a massive inspiration for my fiancé to start this journey into prop making.

This 3D printed animatronic necklace concept really did come to life! ✨

Sometimes when you're sketching up an idea it can feel like the reality is still a million miles away. But every single journey has to start with a single step. 💜 What's a project you've done that felt insurmountable but you tackled anyway?

I love the way this project came out, and it's even better in person! The thermal camera makes the whole thing interactive, creating different responses depending on how close or far someone is from it.

Claptrap is finally coming together! I havent been able to work on him as much, but I can finally simultaneously control all of his smart servos with my custom motion capture device.
