I often get asked if anyone has ever made a knock off of one of my pieces and people are surprised when I tell them Iβve seen a fast fashion dupe of legitimately about 50% of things I ever make! Sometimes within 2-3 weeks after I post the design. For meβ¦ while I do find art theft sad itβs actually not that aspect that really bothers me and itβs rather thisβ¦ My brand was built on the premise of being as eco friendly as possible and trying to recycle even a tiny fraction of the 92 million tons of textile waste that ends up in the landfill each yearβ¦ yes each year that is a real number.
You start to wonder is it possible to ever have an ethical fashion brand if everything small designers create ends up being made by the thousands by fast fashion companies in polyester?!
I donβt know the answer and I can only really control my own output since these companies are overseas. π
I know cheap clothes can be very tempting so thank you to everyone who has supported my small brand over the year. The impact these companies have is crazy but the impact my customers have had over my life as an individual is also crazy so thank you!

Our manufacturer is no longer able to produce these tops as the fabric is deadstock.. so the beige is gone for goodβ¦ HOWEVER! I have some stock left of the exact same shirt in pink. (Only about 15-20 π) if youβve ever wanted one but missed out these are the last of its kind.
