Such an honor for me to be asked to play with the one and only “Dr. Bach’ Action Bronson and his fantastic band “Human Growth Hormone”. “Planet Frog” just dropped last Friday. And I’m looking forward to playing keyboards behind him in support of it. My debut performance with them will be a live recording in front of an audience (No pressure there:) at the legendary Katz’s Deli, New York City. This Thursday, May 14. 🌎🐸

I made it to 49… I’ll take it.
2025 was a great year for me, I am very thankful for all of the people that helped me to reach up and grab a hold of some things that I didn’t think were possible.  also a big thank you to all of the people that have followed my music career and have supported my album last year, I’m looking forward to bringing new music for ‘26/‘27. If the band is only as good as it’s drummer, and Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Steve Winwood, and countless others are “the band” then you would have to arrive at the conclusion that JR Robinson is one of the greatest of all time.

A few months ago I randomly submitted my song, “Run Away” which I had previously recorded and released last year on my record “Confession Of A Fool”. The contest was hosted by @ilio_official and Sessionwire.com. And was an opportunity to have the most recorded drummer of all time record drums on your song..

I submitted the song and behold a month later, I received a message on my Instagram saying that they had been trying to get a hold of me and if I don’t respond ASAP, they’re going to go with the runner-up.

Anyhow, I reached out immediately and worked out some details and the rest is history. It was an absolute honor that JR himself chose my song to perform on, and I want to thank him and Ilio for making it happen.

It’s moments like these, that really make the music lifestyle worthwhile.

We loved watching @johnjrrobinson1 play multiple takes on this track and even recover from a technical issue on the first pass. Even the most recorded drummer in history deals with problems in the studio. The difference? He does another take. Same rule as sports. Don’t let it carry into the next game.
