Is summer finally here 🥹 after what feels like a long and slow hibernation, of sowing and planting many seeds, I can’t wait to release the projects that I’ve been working on. but in the meantime, a seasonal diary as seen through flowers and trees, from this winter and spring 🌸🌷🌼

Part 2 of recent tea memories: in October, I also had the opportunity to hold an intimate tea ceremony in a Mongolian yurt that’s regularly used for shamanic ceremonies. It has a pretty strong personality—it felt special and highly charged to sit and have tea in a space like this 🌀👁️ I enjoyed the experience, especially as I could serve and share the ritual of tea with friends who each have their own practices 💙

I’ve wanted to share what I’ve been up to these past few months, but as the days pass I end up wondering if it still feels relevant… but this memory is far too gorgeous to stay in my phone roll! 🌺
I feel moved by the tea ceremonies I’ve been able to host in such diverse and beautiful places – from Berlin to this dreamy finca in Ibiza – and by meeting people who hold such appreciation for the tea, the ceremony, and the culture 🍵
These experiences have also shown me how much of the practice lives in subtle adaptation. It has sometimes been difficult to break out of my own limited ideas of what a Japanese tea ceremony “should” look like, so I’ve been challenging myself to meet the edges of my own sense of tradition – learning how to honour it while letting the space, the land, and the environment add their own charm. In this way, I feel each ceremony becomes a truly unique encounter 🪷

The mysterious ways of Durgā bringing me to Ireland🔺🍀
I woke up early that morning, bright moon still shining in a pink dawn sky, to make my way to Brú na Bóinne, home to the ancient passage tomb of Newgrange – a site even older than Stonehenge and the Pyramids of Giza. Its walls are covered in hypnotic spirals and geometric shapes, megalithic art that whispers secrets from over 5,000 years ago.
Back in October, during Navrātri (nine nights dedicated to the goddess Durgā) is when I first heard of Newgrange. I remember thinking how extraordinary it would be to visit, but I’m more intentional about travel these days, and a trip to Ireland solely for this felt unlikely.
At the time, I was deep in a Durgā sādhana, setting an intention for something entirely unrelated: a work matter I hoped to resolve in a few months.
I didn't get my desired outcome, but was invited on a business trip, to IRELAND of all places, instead. And so, I knew I had to take a day off to visit Newgrange in honour of Durgā Maa.
I still don't think I've connected all the dots of this story, but isn't it curious how, when we align with a certain energy, the path has a way of unfolding, sometimes in the most unexpected of ways... 🍀✨🔺

To start off 2025, I’m so excited and honoured to announce that I am offering Vedic astrology readings at @slc_london ✨
This is a an aura reading I had at their shop last year. The yellows and oranges point to a lot of mental activity which sums it up so well. 2024 wasn’t a major year outwardly, but there was a lot going on behind the scenes - inner shifts, ideas and plans that haven’t yet materialised, but that I know is all part of the process to get me ready for 2025, the year of Mars, and of courage and action.
I’ll be at She’s Lost Control monthly, starting from this Saturday. You can book a session with me via the website or follow the link in bio 🏹🩵🪽

A weekend spent in the magical forest of Sintra, between the mountains and the sea ~ was a joy to spot so many healing plants, like milk thistle, marigold, angelica, queen anne’s lace and datura 🌿 and then end the day by the coast, watching the sun set into the sea, and the constellations appear in the night sky 🌌

In our 2 hours together, we will:
🌑 Explore the mythology and symbolism of eclipses
🌕 Look at your birth chart to identify what this eclipse season holds for you
🌑 Access the Akashic Records through a guided meditation and sound bath journey
🌕 Address past conditioning and work on breaking cycles that no longer serve you
Note that due to the intimate and in-depth nature of this workshop, this container is limited to 8 people.
