A loose interpretation of Dante’s classic poem, Inferno is a concept album that depicts Hell as the suffering we can experience when we turn to escapism and self-sabotaging behaviors rather than healing our wounds. If Heaven is a real authentic love, Hell is what we turn to for a quick fix.

The album follows a heartbroken popstar as she runs off to a mysterious European island in the hope that she can escape her pain, only to find that the pain follows her everywhere she goes. She encounters a cast of characters at the island’s 9-story nightclub as she searches for real love, each one leaving her emptier than the one before. The first 9 tracks each translate a circle of Hell from Dante’s Inferno (slightly out of order) with the last song marking the escape to Purgatory. Has she finally found real love? Or will the cycle start again?

Join me on the journey through Inferno, the hottest dancefloor in the Mediterranean, as we catch flights instead of feelings, kiss strangers, get high, deal with an emotionally unavailable toxic situationship, fall in love with someone we just met, and ultimately succumb to suffering - all while a captive audience watches through their phones.

I wrote and produced most of this project in about a month during a heatwave this past summer as a form of release.
