Two strangers arrived in Morocco with the same goal: to learn Arabic. By pure chance, they ended up in the same apartment, sharing the same dedication to mastering the language. Determined to improve, they spoke only Arabic to each other—at first, their conversations were little more than ‘ma3arefch’ (I don’t know), but soon, they grew, as did their friendship.
Their days were filled with coffee, cigarettes, and shared meals, their bond strengthening over late-night talks and the rhythms of daily life in Rabat. But their story didn’t end there. When their time in Morocco came to a close, one sent the other a beat. A rough demo was recorded, revealing a hidden talent. Months later, they reunited in Brussels, where the song came to life in a studio, fueled by late nights, chicken noodles, and the creative energy of Mofro424.
With a beat by Mofro424 and lyrics written and rapped by Timuti, the track was born from nights of wandering through Lyon—where the city blurred into thought, and the deeper one walked, the more they got lost. A story of chance encounters, music, and friendship, now immortalized in sound.
Je Tout Oublier will be out March 28th on all streaming platforms!

I think most people by now know of the ‘living in two worlds’ concept. The reality for me, and others, with a different cultural heritage than the majority out here. I think the further away your mother culture from the dominant one, the bigger the split between the two is. Most of us are challenged with navigating this split. For the past years, I’ve been researching in depth what this could mean to a person. Shit is wild. Like, us children of migrants are up to 5 times as likely to be diagnosed with schizophrenia than the native dutchmen. The same goes for our parents. This means that this split has fucking consequences beyond just an inconvenience in daily life & I think it is something we need to deal with rather sooner than later. It’s rough though. How to integrate the Dutch part of yourself, if all your life you haven’t been acknowledged as Dutch. The coming years I’ll dedicate most of what I am doing towards this subject. Academically, musically, and definitely on a personal level. The latter two go hand in hand, and that is what Wahed is. A reflection of attempting to overcome the split in myself. It’s a long and tedious fucking process, but I am going in the right direction.

ׂׂૢ ׂׂૢ Another great beginning of the year with @mofro.424 ‘s new track ‘Wahed’.

As long time admirers and fans, we’re thrilled to have signed the mind behind ‘DO IT LIKE THIS!?’: Mofro 424
Mofro 424 hails from Flevoland, The Netherlands, bringing a hip-hop mindset that’s all about crafting sounds from scratch and pouring out what’s real. Each track reflects an exploration, a step further along the creative path, where expression isn’t just a choice: it’s a necessity.
On top of acquiring this gem, there will be a number of brand new releases equally unique coming up.

I was invited to play a set for Radio 360: a new concept by @crtblnch.nl and @tweeshuis where creative disciplines collide. I invited the talented Teri Lois @ter.ific to bless the place with her painting. I chose to move in a Sinus, finding a middle ground between what would be considered Sunday soul music and some hard-hitting 160+bpm-esque ghetto/drums. I loved the concept and I am very proud of this hour of blends emerging from it. Here is some cuts. The whole thing is to be found on youtube. Link through bio!!
Big S/O to @tweeshuis & @crtblnch.nl for the great production and the opportunity!!
