Throwback to when I played the King in a stage production of the Little Prince, dressed as Elvis Presley, and singing his version of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean.
Most hackathons end with ideas.
This one ended with a 2nd place win and a reality show concept built in just 2.5 hours.
Excited to share our win at the CapCut & Machine Cinema AI Storytelling Hackathon.
Theme: Teaser / Concept for a Reality Show
This video is a quick look at what we built during the hackathon, from concept to execution. Really appreciate the opportunity to build, experiment, and iterate in such a fast-paced creative environment.
For those who know me, I’m deeply interested in AI productivity tools, growth strategy, and solution architecture, so it was especially valuable to explore new workflows and learn from other storytellers pushing the space forward.
Huge thank you to @capcutapp, @bytedancemy, @minhsmind and the team at @machinecinema along with hackathon partners @adammutchler and @katieL.
Curious to hear what you think of the concept.
Until the next one. Ciao!

Muji was a speaker yesterday at the GenJam. She spoke on AI’s impact on the dog community, her thoughts on why dogs should get into vibe coding, and why canines stand to win big if they invest in GPU compute early.

Had the honor to moderate a really interesting panel at the Gene of Creativity: Mapping the Future of Manga and Technology event hosted at the Digital Garage. This was genuinely the hardest panel I’ve ever done. But also so profoundly rewarding.
Jumping into really challenging material about Japanese culture and manga and its intersection with AI, how do we define and redefine creativity and originality, how Japanese art and artists will approach AI as a creative partner and aid, and how AI becomes a translator of culture. While at the same time, we had an actual live translator on stage.
My panelists were the awesome Albert Webson, Research Scientist at Anthropic and Shoko Ugaki, CEO and Founder of Orange. They had really penetrating and deep views on the space.
Thank you so much to Orange, Digital Garage, and the Japanese Consulate for the invitation!!!

We did a GenJam....at the TV ACADEMY??!? So proud of the team. So proud of the work we've been doing. So grateful to be at the bleeding edge of where creativity is going. So honored to be standing alongside some of the most amazing, talented, humble, and curious people in the world.

For me, a dose of creativity was the best send off to the holiday break. I had so much fun with my team making awesome AI content at last night’s Gen Jam with @machinecinema and @capcutapp . The laughter with new friends was a balm. Thanks Fred Grinstein and @minhsmind for hosting another awesome Gen Jam!

Last week, we hosted the Uncanny Valley Fest at Y Combinator with Machine Cinema, Koyal, Fal, and Y Combinator! 200 people came to Y Combinator compete in 3 categories: Music Videos, Short Films, and Launch Videos. It was amazing to see the brilliant and creative energy of people in the Bay Area using the bleeding edge latest tools to create videos and tell stories. We’ll be back next year bigger and better! Thanks so much to our partners: Koyal, Fal, Sync, Aspect, Waffer, and Narrative for all their help and our many platform partners for credits and support!
