FOLD Artist Focus: A.Fruit

Anna Fruit is the explorer of the universe of sounds and the relationships between music and people. She has been addicted to bass music production since starting over a decade ago, and now works as a professional sound designer and audio engineer, working to create sounds of the highest quality.

Anna Fruit was born in 1989 in Moscow, Russia (USSR at the time) in the Ukrainian family and is now based in Barcelona, Spain. A.Fruit found her 160 bpm-focused sound somewhere in between her longtime loves of drum'n'bass, jungle, hip-hop, and especially footwork. A.Fruit has released six EPs and more than 30 original tracks and remixes on compilations worldwide. Her music has also appeared on labels including @medschoolmusic, @hospitalrecords, @teklife57, @hyperboloidrecords, @worstbehaviorrecs and more.

Outside of her own music, A.Fruit creates sound effects and music of other genres for PC games (Gremlins, Inc., Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Spire of Sorcery / Sister of a Dragon).

Minds On Fire are thrilled to sign writer and producer @jaybert87 to an exclusive worldwide deal. Jay co-wrote Jazzy & KILIMANJARO’s 2024 hit No Bad Vibes, which spent an incredible 36 weeks on the UK charts and is currently working across the rest of KILIMANJARO’s upcoming debut album.

We are very happy to welcome James Stanley a.k.a @legato_uk to the Minds On Fire roster. James is carving his path as one of the freshest voices coming out of the UK house underground and electronic music more widely. 
 
Making his mark on the International scene with releases on All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Eton Messy and Nightcolours with support from top DJs, the future is looking bright for the fast-rising house music aficionado - including a recent direct deal with LabelWorx, where James has full creative control and ownership of his output.
 
We are looking forward to working with James on lots of music and sync projects in the coming months!

FOLD Artist Focus: Roska

Working across UK funky, house and various, mutated strains of bass-heavy club music, Roska has earmarked himself as one of the UK’s most accomplished underground exponents.

Since the initial boom of underground electronic music in the UK, Roska has been one of the UK’s leading niche authorities, both as a producer and DJ, but also as a mentor and label owner. Via his @roskakickssnares imprint, he presided over 100 releases, from the likes of djma1, @champion_dj, @murder_he_wrote and @djpolo.

Roska’s production style has varied over the years, between stripped back, percussion-driven rollers to more club-influenced vocal creations, all of which will always pack a tremendously recognizable rhythmic punch, gaining support around the UK and also abroad.
