From antagonist to friend ♥️

💣 The single ‘Time Bomb’ is out, and I couldn’t be happier. The track is the finale of a short collection of songs that pack a punch: the goal was an overall energetic, intense, and overwhelming production, with a lyrical framework that explores deeper ideas that started MOCUD in the first place. Along with the last three singles, I have released the new EP: ‘Perfect in Thought, Word, and Deed’.

📸 The cover images for the four songs and the EP covers went through many versions before I decided to use pictures taken by my mother and grandfather (the EP cover was taken by me). These images help balance the lyrics and music, and they’re just as funny as they are epic. Small beginnings can lead to success, self-awareness, and honor, or they can spiral into hopelessness, sadness, or worse — a malicious attitude and bad karma. These last songs, and the Mind of MOCUD I embrace while writing, help me figure out how to turn my small beginnings into a productive and positive flow.

♥️ Last but not least: a huge thank you to @sambraunproductions for an epic time in the studio recording and engineering all the vocals (and a trumpet line), and to @burnrange at @schaltgeraete_studios, who gave the songs a new meaning. Not only did he continue and elevate all the productions, but he also mixed and mastered the last four MOCUD songs.
