Congratulations to @millyfmedia, winner of this year’s Alice Guy Blaché Film Award and to all the students who worked so hard to make such brilliant films!

‘Solace’ moved every single one of us. It’s exactly the kind of film this award exists to celebrate, bold, human and brilliant!

The performances from @blaithwaite.film and @hdoherty_77 were simply brilliant and as non-actors both are now considering this path after seeing such an amazing reaction to their work!

The Alice Guy Blaché Award exists to shine a light on the next generation of filmmakers, and Milly’s work is a reminder of just how bright that future is. We are so honoured to be able to champion talent like this. 🎬✨

A massive shout out to @onlybhg for working with the students to develop their films, @isla.in.industry for being supportive as last year’s winner, the @arccinemapreston for hosting the festival and @newman_college for working with us and making it all happen!
