In 2018, my life took a big shift when I moved to France. Back then, my main goal was to become a film director.
But along the way, my passion for visual storytelling and technical precision naturally led me to cinematography.

However, it never came easily. Being abroad meant finding ways to live and survive, which delayed many of my career goals and dreams. I struggled to get the projects I wanted and to create the images I envisioned.

I had to take a long detour, face a few disappointments, and keep pushing before finally being able to say: Here’s my first cinematography reel.

It’s a step I’m proud of and a glimpse of what’s to come.

To everyone who believed in me, trusted me, and gave me the space to create — thank you.

I quit my job. I’m officially going freelance!

This reel is a glimpse of what I’ve been up to — trips, events, corporate films, interviews, and personal projects.

After more than four years, I’m grateful for my time at SIGNS and the experiences I had there; a few shots from that period appear in this reel. Wishing the team all the best moving forward.

Now comes the time for a new challenge!

I revisited this edit with a different song, this time with “Hedne” by @jad.obeid and @marilynenaaman.
It felt much closer to what I’m feeling today, and to what we’re going through.

My heart aches watching everything happening far from home.

But I don’t know where to start..

These past weeks have been overwhelming. We’ve been watching Lebanon face so much destruction.
From here, I follow everything through screens. I keep checking, even when it feels like too much.
But beyond what we see, I’ve been noticing a growing fracture between our people. And for me, that might be the most dangerous outcome of all this, even beyond the destruction itself.

Here’s how we pulled it off.
Months of scouting, preparation and planning were needed to make this work. Everything had to be perfectly coordinated and synchronised to execute this one-shot to perfection.

Other than the few rehearsals, we ended up doing 11 takes before landing on the final one. Huge shoutout to the incredible cast and crew who had to move the entire set every single time in freezing cold conditions.

Voici ce qu’il fallait pour réaliser cette dinguerie !
Des mois de préparation et de repérages, tout devait être parfaitement coordonné pour réussir ce plan-séquence.

En plus des répétitions, 11 prises ont été nécessaires pour obtenir la bonne. Un immense BRAVO et un merci infini aux comédiens et à l’équipe, qui ont déplacé tout le décor à chaque prise dans un froid glacial ! 🥶👏🏼
