Southern rock artist Marcus King has just dropped a single, "Red Door," and it turns out, it features one of the last guitar solos ever done by the late Brent Hinds. But, Hinds wasn't actually credited on the original track when it was released last fall on Record Store Day as a part of King's No Room For Blue – it was only just confirmed by Banker Handcrafted Guitars just recently.⁠

In a time where bands seem to be selling their catalogs and masters, Avenged Sevenfold have actually done the exact opposite – and because of it, they are now a fully independent band after 26 years. The band purchased back their Live at the Grammy Museum record and The Stage, The Stage (Deluxe Edition) which turns 10 years old this year. And it seems like Avenged Sevenfold are planning to do something for the anniversary. Though, what that may be remains unclear.⁠

As of 15 minutes ago, Static-X has announced they will be cancelling their remaining tour dates for the rest of the year due to serious medical issues, according to a statement posted to their social media channels.⁠
