For those that don't know, within the lore of Assassin's Creed:
This is an ISU artefact, the ones who came before humanity, made these blood vials. Once the cube with the blood of a chosen individual is placed within the crystal skull at the Observatory, one can see and hear as they do. Like an ancient ultimate spy/blackmail system.

They are key in Black Flag's plot :)

So Mentor's order was not hard to follow up on 🤣

If you follow our channels or those of @ubisoft or @assassinscreed, you just might have noticed that a few weeks ago... we were in San Francisco at a preview event for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Let's do a checklist:

Play the game? ✅️
Rick wears his self-made Edward costume at official promo event for BF? ✅️
Gill captures and photographs that event? ✅️
See San Francisco; Pier 39, the Golden Gate Bridge, Skywalker Ranch Store? ✅️
Gill drinking and liking StarBucks coffee? ✅️

Help the actual actor, @mattryanreal , of the main character of one of the most beloved games in the franchise become Edward Kenway in real-life, by having him wear that self-made costume and what is for Matt Ryan the first time actually donning the iconic robes rather then a spandex mo-cap suit and seeing Matt actually moved by that experience....? ✅️ wait. AC fan? Read that again. Yes. ✅️

Did a certain once 14 year old boy back in 2013, who caught a foam saber at a Dutch event during one of the famous goodie hunts by Rick and the Boss of Goodie Hunts @drsleon himself capture the above mentioned moment....? Gill did. ✅️

Temu Edward or not, the bloody trollers can eat their heart out!! We did this. A small piece of AC history.... actor from the game.... become the character in real-life...

Proud? Yes. But mostly.... grateful. Grateful to once again see the incredible passion from the people at Ubisoft. From the coffee lady to the game director; kind, forthcoming, passionate and here it comes; worker ethics that will put a lot of people who say they work hard to shame. They give it their all and keep smiling. THANK YOU!

About the game we say only this; the hype is JUSTIFIED!!! We never lost faith in Ubisoft, but this one is going to smack every nay-sayer right on their a.... yess.

Rick got a tattoo to cement this journey for life, in San Francisco.

The best? More is on the way!!!!

13 years ago I set sail in AC BF for the first time ever.
It also was also my 2nd collectors edition!

And last week I have been lucky enough to work together with @mattryanreal in San Francisco to make some cool content 😎🏴‍☠️

I can't thank @rbfproductionsnl enough for making this happen, literally a kids a dream come true, 14 year old me wouldn't believe it! ⚔️

On of my other highlights was talking to Paul and Richard the devs of AC BF resynced. 🏴‍☠️ I was fortunate enough to talk to them multiple times and I am so happy to see that they maybe are even bigger fans of AC then I am.

Also a massive thanks to all the amazing people at Ubisoft for making this happen, everyone has been so kind and generous 🙏🏼
