Saturday December 13 ~ Ficciones returns to Mood Ring bringing you three hours of hypnotic, ephemeral sounds to ease you into the evening.

You can expect dreamy textures from DJ, organizer, and producer @mengze__. They are a master of weaving shimmery blends between ambient and bass music for the dancers and deep listeners alike. @echor__ , a.k.a. Danny Roche, dives deep into the sounds of 90’s downtempo and chillout to sculpt sets both introspective and expansive. A b2b years in the making, @nataliepops_ and @ethereal.mvp open up the night trading tracks with a shared admiration for early aughts downtempo, playful IDM and synthpop.

Back at Mood Ring for its sixth edition, Sweat Sessions gathers some of NYC’s sharpest selectors for a night that spans house, techno, dub, and bass.

DJ Healthy (@m_s.healthyyy), Yokohama-bred and Brooklyn-based curator behind PACIFIC MODE (@pacific_mode22), seamlessly bridges Japan and NYC’s underground with genre-fluid sets that cut across house, bass, and techno.

Perna (@perrnaa), Miami-raised, Brooklyn-based DJ and 1/3 of Ladiez Drink Free (@ladiezdrinkfree), brings dynamic, unpredictable sets that fuse tech house, electro, and drum & bass with a nostalgic flair.

Mengze (@mengze__), Brooklyn-based DJ, producer, and organizer of sweethearts club, delivers high-energy, bass-driven sets layered with shimmering textures and bouncy rhythms, moving dancefloors with their distinct, genre-blurring style.

full body stretch (@marc.huo) opens with deep, spacious downtempo and weighty dub techno cuts, setting a hypnotic foundation for the night.

@luisa__mei joins from upstate with a live set, presenting an evolving story of classical piano, ambient textures and vibrant dance beats 🎹🌸 @midi.neutron + @fredlikestheinternet + @derincaglar play an improvised set, blending dreamy soundscapes, lush textures, and the trio’s individual rhythmic and melodic sensibilities 🎷🌷 @ddddoula ends the night with a DJ set, weaving together her many musical influences 💜
