@andrea.luzi__ is the winner of the @fb_art_collection Prize 2026.
Presented by @anniwugallery, the artist was awarded on Saturday, April 25 with the work La signora del gioco (2026).
The prize, promoted by FB Art Collection and founded by Felipe Benvenutti, focuses on the valorization of Black art and the expansion of cultural perspectives within the contemporary art system.
As Felipe Benvenutti states:
“We are particularly pleased that a young Italian artist has been awarded this prize with a work of great sensitivity and depth. Andrea Luzi’s practice shows how new generations engage with symbolic imagery in original ways, contributing to the enrichment and expansion of contemporary art perspectives.”
Andrea Luzi (Ancona, 1997) investigates the persistence of symbolic imagery, creating a tension between archaic iconographies and contemporary imaginaries.
