@McFaul-Day are proud to have spent more than a decade celebrating @NewBalance’s Made In UK range and the rich shoemaking legacy of the brand’s Flimby factory. Emerging from that rich legacy is the new V2 iteration of the iconic New Balance 991 shoe.

Journeying from Flimby to Milan (via Modena), we follow the new 991v2 as it passes through the hands of some of New Balance’s closest friends and family before being hand-delivered to legendary chef and 991 obsessive @MassimoBottura, in his flagship restaurant, Osteria Francescana.


The north of England and the north of Italy are two places that, at first glance, might seem worlds apart, but look a little closer and what emerges is a shared appreciation of timeless quality, innovation and tradition, and of the 991.


Our film is an ode to New Balance’s past, present and future. “Introducing the new 991v2.”
