Very excited to share my new exhibition “More Is More”
in collaboration with @hausnowhere.

The installation transforms the space into a breathing landscape. A vast sea of black rubbish bags swells in slow, rhythmic waves, as the bags inflate and deflate.

At the centre stands a larger-than-life, hyperreal elderly man, his animatronic eyes wandering curiously across the scene.

The installation is shown simultaneously in 4 cities:

HAUS NOWHERE Seoul
433, Ttukseom-ro, Seongdong-gu,
Seoul, Republic of Korea

HAUS NOWHERE Dosan
50, Apgujeong-ro 46-gil, Gangnam-gu,
Seoul, Republic of Korea

HAUS NOWHERE Shanghai
798-812, Mid-HuaiHai Rd.,
Huangpu District, Shanghai

HAUS NOWHERE Shenzhen
L1-3, NL199-101, Water Plaza, Shenzhen Mixc World, NO.9668, Shennan Road, Nanshan District, Shenzhen

Biggest thanks so everyone involved ❤️

Very happy to share “It Takes a Village”, possibly one of the biggest puzzles in the world, depicting the very first photograph of my daughter.

The monumental participatory artwork is composed of 80,000 puzzle pieces. Each piece represents the roughly 80,000 people an individual is estimated to meet in a lifetime - from fleeting encounters, deep relationships, and everything in between. It takes a village. 80,000 pieces. One beginning.

Over the duration of the exhibition, visitors are invited to collaboratively assemble the puzzle; piece by piece, stranger by stranger; gradually revealing the first photograph I took of my daughter.

Currently on view at @groundseesaw

@ladoublej presents “SIZE MATTERS” at Salone Del Mobile 26

Inspired by the dreamlike proportions of René Magritte’s painting “Les Valeurs Personnelles” , this installation reimagines homeware through a surrealist lens, transforming a selection of LDJ pieces into extra-large sculptures that play with scale, from Mini to Maxi.

The pieces are hand painted, hand crafted, made with love in Italy.

Big love to @giulio_michelucci

Infinite Columns is an installation by Max Siedentopf for Officina Ultra, the new Ginori 1735 collection: three rooms where porcelain rises and repeats, reflected into infinity by mirrors, accompanied by a soundtrack recorded inside the Manifattura, where the sounds of craft become part of the space.

On view at Milano Design Week until April 26.

Iconoclast, provocateur, master of irreverence—these are just a few of the ways people have described Maurizio Cattelan, the Italian artist whose slippery and satirical works have long entertained, challenged, and moved audiences worldwide.

Not one for explaining himself—so much so that from 1997 to 2006 he hired someone to perform him at public appearances that ranged from lectures at Yale to interviews on Vatican radio—in conversation, Cattelan’s aphoristic responses feel not unlike the pithy one-liners his work delivers.

“In theory,” he tells hube, “anything can become art. In practice, not everything should—at least not immediately.” @mauriziocattelan uses humour to reflect on the art world, systems of power, and the transient nature of life. With these fields of interest in mind, we invited @maxsiedentopf—an artist who plays with the absurd—to create a series of photographs to accompany this story. In them, Cattelan’s “death” arrives. It is mischief and mortality, side by side.

Don’t miss our feature on Maurizio Cattelan in hube SS26, arriving in stores in late April. Pre-order your copy now via the link in bio.

I’m very happy to share my first series of bronze sculptures “That Time Of Year Again”

Santa
37 x 14 x 10cm
Bronze & Paint

‘That Time of Year Again’ is a new bronze sculpture depicting a partially unwrapped chocolate Easter bunny revealing a Santa Claus underneath.

The interchangeability of the forms points to the cyclical nature of celebrations and easy mass production where repetition quietly replaces distinction.
