New release !!!! Topos (ost)
#linkinbio
Composed in 2021, the Topos soundtrack underscores Max Bodendorf’s experimental, non-narrative animation. The film explores the hidden architectures of integrated circuit dies, turning microscopic details into vast urban landscapes and megastructures. Patterns repeat, scales overlap, and flows of information move like veins across a living grid.
The soundtrack matches these visuals with dense textures and immersive soundscapes, highlighting the monumental feel of the microcosm. The music emphasizes the tension between immense and minute, creating a contemplative space that expands the abstract structures on screen.
Topos was featured at FUSE Film Festival, Karlovac 2022 (Best Editing Award), Happy Valley Animation Festival, Pennsylvania 2022 (Honorable Mention), and Kurzfilmwanderung, Leipzig 2022 (Official Selection).

A collection of glass objects. Using the principles of bright and dark field illumination. Which means that either the background or the environment is bouncing off light while all complementary elements remain darkness. This technique leads to an emphasis of the object's contours while preserving clarity in areas of transparency.
