Honoured to see The Ranthambhore Bagh featured by @cntravellerindia
What began as a journey into the wild many years ago has slowly evolved into a more intimate way of living with the land - rooted in nature, restoration, and quiet hospitality.
Thank you @shwetz1984 for capturing the spirit of this place with such care, and to Aditya (@dickysingh ), whose vision and lifelong relationship with Ranthambhore continue to inspire all that we do here.
With gratitude also to @matharooassociates for helping shape spaces that remain deeply connected to the landscape.

Meaningful hospitality emerges from a relationship with the landscape.
Living in Ranthambhore changed the way we understood land, life, and hospitality. When Aditya and I first came here over two decades ago, we were drawn by the wildness of the forest. But living here awakened our senses to so much more around us. The changing seasons, which are often difficult to notice in city life, became impossible to ignore here.
Learning which birds arrive before the rains, which flowers bloom in the harshest summer, where water gathers, and where shade lingers longest.
Over the years, this shaped the way we hosted, lived, planted, and protected.
We began to understand that it all begins with attention and with allowing space for other life to exist alongside us.
The Ranthambhore Bagh 2.0 -our home, which we now share with guests, was never created to stand apart from the surrounding landscape, but to belong gently to the land.
A small ecosystem with bees and butterflies on flowering trees. Dragonflies gathered over the pond and the pool. Birds nesting in stone walls. The smell of wet soil after the first shower of rain, the soft winter light, the bright summer birds, morning chai, the stillness of the ravines, and the feeling of being connected to the natural world around us.
A relationship with the land - built slowly, evolving continuously, and shared with care.

CREDAI Nashik Metro
Office, Skill and Excellence Centre
The centre draws inspiration from the Brahmagiri mountain range—a defining natural feature of Nashik. The built form is envisioned as a series of interconnected blocks that echo the range’s sloping profiles and plateau-like formations, creating a strong architectural identity rooted in the local landscape.
We are delighted to share that our studio was declared the winner of an invited architectural competition, with a community-oriented design derived from Nashik’s unique regional topography.
The Bhoomi Pujan, held on 1st May 2026, marked the beginning of this journey in the presence of Chief Guest Girish Mahajan, Hon’ble Minister for Water Resources and Disaster Management, Government of Maharashtra.
A wonderful show by President Gaurav Thakkar and the esteemed members of the association made the occasion even more memorable.

Matharoo Associates approaches design with a simple belief: reduce, refine, and let the idea speak clearly. Like a well-placed first serve, each concept is intentional, precise, and confident.
His work approaches sustainability with an open mind; balancing science with sensitivity in a calm, “green turquoise” way. But what truly defines his architecture is its spirit, playful, witty, and far from sterile.
At heart, the practice is driven by emotion as much as logic, creating spaces that feel alive, intuitive, and deeply human.
