@viktorandrolf archival haute couture special for our amsterdam issue of @numero_netherlands
it finally stopped raining. i had just dropped some things off in the car and was rushing from the rijksmuseum to albert cuyp to catch up with the rest of the crew. i was on the phone almost crying, venting how everything was perfectly planned but somehow it all went horribly wrong when all of a sudden i saw a familiar face on the other side of the street. i looked away and then i looked back. away and back again. there he was, viktor from viktor&rolf casually returning from grocery shopping. for a second i thought i was losing my mind, that the stress has just brought me to a state of vivid hallucination.
he smiled and we waved at each other. if i needed a sign that everything was going to be okay, I couldn’t have asked for a better one. in the end, we pulled through (like we always do) and the result is something i am beyond proud of! thank you to the whole team for pulling through and creating something so beautiful together.

Little appreciation post:
A year and a half ago, I was given a chance, without any previous experience, solely based on a good word my teacher put in for me. On my first day, I set up my work email address and started posting press releases, having no idea what this would turn into.
Three print issues and many digital interviews, articles, and photoshoots later, here I am, doing something I’ve always wanted to do. Growing and developing every single day, but most importantly, creating something beautiful with people I can call my friends.
So, thank you all for the most amazing time I’ve ever had. Thank you, @timiletonja, for trusting my vision; @itsjustmp and @maria_smota, for always having my back and teaching me to have confidence in myself and my work; and @indavaa @_elianacasa and @janaletonja , for being there for me anytime I need, for being a part of my world doing an incredible job, and for making every day great! 🤍

COSMIC FRENZY is an editorial that draws inspiration from a painting by Polish artist Wladyslaw Podkowinski "Frenzy Of Exultations" (1893). It’s a project that delves into the meaning of FRENZY in the post-napoleonic era, which was a common theme in art, literature and philosophy, often seen as a disturbance of the mind and a symbol of tyranny. This work connects FRENZY to the vastness of our subconscious mind. The story follows a woman’s journey from darkness to search for her inner frenzy. Starting in a dark place, she evolves into a realm of pleasure. Each character in the story represents different aspects of the human experience. It’s a surrealistic story that uses allegory to delve into trauma and personal experience.
