The last two weeks of February were special. I had the opportunity to share a residency with @jana.tox , giving birth to what would become "a n o m a l i a". It was truly one of the best weeks I can remember spending creating.

Devenir urdimbre es una instalación inmersiva que entrelaza escultura, visualización digital y composición sonora para desplegar un campo perceptivo en constante vibración.

Las esculturas, diseñadas e impresas por Manel Bafaluy, habitan el espacio como cuerpos orgánicos y abstractos que condensan una energía latente. Cada forma se encarna con una tensión activa, una presencia que se abre a la resonancia. Una nube de puntos, programada por Marco Ferreira, recorre la sala proyectando figuras lumínicas que evocan rosetones líquidos: patrones fugaces que articulan el espacio como si la materia misma se tejiera en luz.El paisaje sonoro de Eddgem envuelve la experiencia con capas de textura y frecuencias oscilantes, insuflando aliento al conjunto haciéndolo reverberar.

Last weekend I had the chance to perform a new AV set at Volumens Campus called "one minus one". I've been away from traditional musical forms for a year now, and playing at this venue was a good opportunity to gather some late ideas from glitch, ambient and cinematic experiments and bring them together on stage as an AV performance.

It's been a crazy year of learning from different people. My practice has centred around exploring different types of disciplines and languages, the ways in which these fusions can help me to express myself better, and this has definitely helped (and continues to help) me to have a clearer perspective on my motivations as a creator.

A couple of weeks back, I discovered the Max for Live probability pack, which included 5 really cool different sequencer patchers, by @c74connect . I was looking for a light sequencer plugin with similar features and a workflow as an out-of-the-box machine. 

The devices in this pack all have awesome features individually, but the need to have it all condensed into one instrument got me tweaking the Step Divider sequencer, so it could maintain its built-in features and apply them to new ones such as probability and velocity per step, multi note selection, etc…

The adaptation is still missing some fine adjustments, but it has been an overall achievement so far!

As technology evolves, so do the prosthetic devices that enhance our daily experience. Smaller, more efficient and closer to the body. What is the limit of integration of devices into human corporeality? How do social and ethical paradigms influence their use and accessibility?

The project aims to explore human-technological interactions in everyday places, from which prosthetic bridges of bidirectional improvement (human-machine) are established through elements such as modification or exaggeration.
