Racking Slings - we are so back 😤
✅ The primary goal is keeping material stowed high, tight, and efficient.
⛔️ Avoid long dangling loops that can become a tripping or snag hazard.
Sewn slings are most commonly made in 60 cm increments. A 60 cm sling wraps once across the shoulder, which leads to the common slang terms:
1️⃣Single sling = 60 cm
2️⃣Double sling = 120 cm
3️⃣Triple sling = 180 cm
Watch @megas_sends demonstrate:
➖60 cm single length sling ➡️ alpine draw style, passing one carabiner through the other
➖120 cm double length sling ➡️ three loops, twist, and clip
➖180 cm triple length sling ➡️ four loops, twist, and clip
Do you store your slings differently? Let us know 👇

The new 2026 Wall Rider 2.0 from @mammutna drops 15 grams from the original Wall Rider helmet. Also available with MIPS and Twiceme technology for an added 25 grams. AMGA guide @megas_sends gives us the highlights in the reel.

Goodbye, Cliff.
Technology can support adventure, but it will never replace the IRL experiences and undeniable benefits of being outdoors.
That’s why we created Cliff, our AI-bot hiking companion, and why we’re now saying goodbye to him. While AI may be here to stay (or not), no algorithm can replicate fresh air, human connection, or the feeling of being in nature.
So, in memory of Cliff, we invite everyone to do the same thing we’ve been encouraging all along.
Take a hike. ❤️

We got lucky and filmed @megas_sends at the CWA Summit talking about his experience with the Mammut Assist belay resistor. Who wants one? What questions do you have?

Brought to you by AI.. I guess.
Unfortunately this is a standard response to many creators’ posts now. After putting so much effort into scouting a location to best capture its mystifying nature and then share it with the world.. its labelled artificially generated. Maybe it’s a badge of honor that we’ve done our job so well people can’t believe it’s real..
The more time spent online distorts your ability to determine for yourself what’s actually fake and what’s just a rad spot. It’s probably time to go outside and take a hike.

These days it's easy to be one person online and another in real life and slowly loose yourself. The depression rate is growing higher, drugs and alcohol are now accompanied with vapes, lip pouches and personal screens as the most addictive substances. Being injured for most of the year was a huge reminder how toxic these personal devices really are...at times i let the over simulation, overload of thoughtless information and overconsumption of undigested media get to me throughout my rehab, until i decided to go off grid for a bit and just absorb some of what used to be the human norm. Despite my ankle keeping me indoors and off snow more than usual i've chose these slides as some examples of people, places and passions that help me get off screens and into the present moment...
What i found was after a short time disconnected from my phone is that i really didn't want to go back to it...i found it very hard to be on my phone for more than a few minutes, hence me not posting lately. But the funny thing is that once i get back on my phone daily, it then becomes very addictive and hard to put down, almost like it's mandatory or necessary, which unfortunately it is sometimes for some careers, but for the most part it's a design by the creators of these apps and devices to create false reliance on a device for only their benefit of profit and control. Anyway this post is an attempt to bring awareness to how important disconnecting is for our physical and mental health...leave phone service, be in nature, near wildlife, near moving water, on snow...really reconnecting to the frequencies of the planet that feeds us spiritually, physically and mentally. This is what humanity has been immersed in for thousands of years and something we will need to get back to.
So ignore the trolls, let 'Cliff'–@mammut's Ai bot take care of them, haha, get outside and #TakeAHike !!!! @mammutna #SeasonRecap #WhatIDoToDisconnect #TrevorWouldDoIt
