Giving this @meridian_guitars Amun 5 a blast through a driven tube bass preamp/DI here to get some grit into the signal. Sometimes handmade basses like this are thought to only be for βpretty soundsβ, but this baby can also rock! A wolf in sheeps clothingβ¦
The @mamapickups Scarab pickups on this Meridian bass have a lovely warm tone to them, which is great for a pushed driven tube sound like this. The video here is showing the bass in active mode moving through various pickup coil positions.
