The official release of Pancharatna Paratattva (my first book !!) at Thyagaraja Aradhana 2026, under the auspices of Shruthi Adelaide, by the gracious Sri Narayan Rai uncle, Smt Vinaya Rai aunty, and Smt Suma Rudrapatna aunty — distinguished cultural and community leaders, stalwarts, and award-winning artists; most importantly without whose inspiritation, guidance, encouragement and support I would not, have come to this point or had the opportunities and blessings to go further ahead. To me it is such a special moment considering they gave me my FIRST opportunities here in Australia and have blessed and backed me since.
It is my great honour and fortune that they agreed to jointly release this work, born of my research, understanding, and lived experiences of the Thyagaraja Pancharatna kritis.
In the august presence of the crème of South Australia’s music community — rasika jana, and above all, bhakta jana — and with the blessings of the Divine, Thyagaraja Swami, my Thatha (whom I hope is watching over me with pride as his legacy of writing continues), my grandparents, parents, meme-chipapa and Athai-athimber, my brothers Gaalav ans Vishwajit, and all my family and friends, this moment feels deeply sacred. I am especially grateful that all of this unfolded under the blessings of Varasiddhi Vinayaka at Shri Ganesha Temple Oaklands.
I hope to share this book and its insights, not only with musicians, rasikas, and bhaktas across Australia, but with seekers around the world. This is a not-for-profit offering; my sole intention is to preserve and share what I believe to be important and authentic knowledge for future generations, not to celebrate adiyen. 🙏🏽😇
