13 years ago today, on Devil’s Night, we gathered for the first time on Lincoln Street to open the Art Park... and never in a million years did we know what a magical place it would become. Believe in yourself. Make the world better. Share Your Candy.

Basking in the afterglow of DREAMTROIT ☁️(and catching up on the last month of life I didn’t want to miss out on sharing)! A few weeks ago, I headed out to Detroit to DJ the full moon summer solstice party at @lincolnstreet_artpark - and it was INCREDIBLE. 🪩🌕🐺🎶🤩 I’ve been craving more and more creativity lately and it’s hard to imagine a community more creative than this one. Creativity and originality seeps through every ounce of this place, offering a space for connection in this Dreamtroit/Detroit community also knows as @make_art_work 🎨. Considering this location started out as a former @lincoln auto manufacturing plant turned recycling center, it’s even more impressive to see what’s evolved the last 8 years since I last visited. Having met some of this community at @burningman back in 2016 when @doylehuge and @uncle__meatball conspired with @tholee to pull off one of the most epic nights of my life (🥹) - it was a true pleasure to join them on their own creative turf and DJ the opening set of the party, surrounded by epic art cars like the iconic @scrubbybubble created by @engineeringbyconjecture and the cat car created by @doylehuge (photo at end of the WIP), cosmic metal sculptures, pyrotechnic art and the Detroit community primed for a good time. 💃🏼🌕🐺These photos and videos capture only a small glimpse of what’s going on here, so make sure you properly check them out - they really know how to inspire and make art and community work. I can’t wait to see how this place evolves and come back for more musical and creative experiences. A few weeks ago, I headed out to Detroit to DJ the full moon summer solstice party at @lincolnstreet_artpark - and it was INCREDIBLE. 🪩🌕🐺🎶🤩 I’ve been craving more and more creativity lately and it’s hard to imagine a community more creative than this one.
