2025 flew by in the blink of an eye. As we step into 2026, my resolution is to slow down, be more present, and to enjoy moments as they happen.
I’m taking the time to reflect on all the amazing projects we completed in 2025. One of the highlights was our incredible 2-month residency at @kellettschool —an unforgettable way to kick off the year!
Looking back over the photos and videos fills me with pride, and I find myself wishing we could go back and do it all over again.
Excited to share our collaborative mural at @themillshk in Tsuen Wan!
This project, developed in partnership with @hkwalls, began in June and has finally been installed as of December 2025.
Our mural pays tribute to the rich history and heritage of the Nan Fung cotton mill, beautifully blending vintage signage crafted by @katolone with the vibrant kapok flower and the diverse birdlife of Hong Kong.
We’ve created 10 large cross-stitch artworks, intricately stitched onto metal grid frames, adding a tactile and unique dimension to the piece.

Well, it’s not completely terrible, is it?
Attempted the new Hong Kong Daytime Skyline kit from @make.and.do.hk because I apparently needed a new hobby to stress me out.
To be fair, this DIY embroidery kit literally includes step-by-step instructions to create your own design, making it perfect for both beginners and experienced embroiderers. All you actually need to get started is a pair of scissors! (Though a lot of patience helps too).

Exciting news from @kellettschool ! We started discussing this project back in 2022, and fast forward to 2025, the students, teachers and parents dedicated two months to adding their unique touches to the tapestry tables.
Now, in 2026, we’re thrilled to finally celebrate the 50th anniversary! The stunning tapestry artwork has been stretched and mounted on the wall, and here’s the best part: it’s been transformed into a tram design! 🚋💨
Look for it around town during art month in March 2026! Be sure to take a photo and tag us—we can’t wait to see your shots! 📸❤️

The @themillshk Mural Gallery
The wall is divided into 3 parts. Our section represents a crucial part of Hong Kong’s industrial history. Established in 1954 by Chen Din Hwa in Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong, Nan Fung Cotton Mills grew into a major textile producer, with six mills operating by 1970. Known as the “King of Cotton Yarn,” it was a cornerstone of Hong Kong’s manufacturing boom.

Join @make.and.do.hk for a special Chinese New Year workshop, where they will be showcasing their new Year of the Horse embroidery kit for 2026.
Throughout the day, they will offer drop-in sessions and one-on-one guidance to help you embark on your embroidery journey with complete confidence. You will find testing stations where you can try your hand at a few of the different stitches included in the kits, giving you the opportunity to discover just how addictive it is!
