We’re back at the stomping ground @chiave.shoreditch this Saturday, May 16th for another Lunedance soirée.

For the next installment, we’re joined by South London-based selector @showermanjosh. Deeply immersed in the city’s underground circuit for years, Joshua has played at institutions such as @thegooselondon, @jumbipeckham and @thegreyhound.uk, building a reputation for smart, deeply considered selections and dialled in sets. A serious digger with an extensive record bag, Joshua moves effortlessly through psychedelic textures, percussive grooves and unexpected left turns - always with a strong sense of flow and energy for the dance floor.

Setting the tone for the evening is @ella____roberts. With a background in design, her approach behind the decks is equally considered - carefully layered, driving, and built with intention. Expect darker shades of electro and forward-moving energy throughout.

It’s ceremonial in nature, and I believe that with the right eyes and ears, an unspoken magic is achieved. A moment that leaves everyone collectively thinking, “What on earth just happened?”
I’ve seen some incredible sets this year that truly reflected that idea. Rhadoo at Waking Life, Edward at Houghton to name just a few. They’ve inspired me  in a heavy way. I’ve always tried to play slightly deep, I aim construct sets that are hopefully thought-provoking. I often find these are the sets I enjoy the most, depending on my headspace at the time…

Currently, I don’t get to play out much, I can be timid when it comes to the social element of being a DJ, I understand in this day and age it comes hand in hand and it’s just as that saying goes. ‘You don’t ask you don’t get’, but whatever, thats neither here nor there. However, when I do play I hope to leave people with that very same feeling the same magic I experience on the dance floor and I hope you can hear that through this mix.

We are excited to bring you our second edition of @lunedance_ Thailand, at the @deepgreen.th base.

We have Chiangmai’s very own @_liem_____ one of @noise.th’s three founding members. His musical repertoire spans in between micro house, minimal to house and techno, characterised by a delightful blend of dancefloor allure and youthful energy. His journey in the industry has been shaped by immersive experiences, fostering a keen understanding of its nuances. Liem’s character is defined by a genuine appreciation for others’ perspectives, which he seamlessly weaves into his own creative fabric, crafting a unique and captivating appeal.

We have one of Bangkok’s pillars in the scene, @mo.elro from @kangkao_ a key member of the underground electronic music scene in Thailand, continuing to provide fresh energy for Bangkok’s underground music scene and culture bringing fresh and slick beats to the dance floor.

They will be joined alongside Lunedance residents @hiromitsu_goggin & @zoardheuze.
