This Saturday, OH ROOM welcomes a special last-minute international guest into the room.

London-based British-Iraqi DJ LUMA joins us for a one-hour pop-up session, bringing together Arabic heritage, London’s underground pulse, UK bass, electro, techno, and global club textures. She will play from 21:00–22:00, followed by TOM WU until 23:00.

LUMA is a British-Iraqi DJ, radio host, and nightlife curator shaped by her Arabic roots and the sound system culture of London.

Her sets are rhythm-forward and bass-heavy, moving fluidly through UK and global underground sounds, electro, techno, and percussive club music, always with a strong sense of movement, texture, and atmosphere.

She has appeared at Glastonbury Festival, fabric, The Jazz Cafe, Royal Albert Hall, V&A, and across cities including Berlin, Bangkok, and Cairo. She is currently a resident on Sister Midnight FM.

LUMA is also the founder of Habibti Nation, a platform highlighting underground electronic music from SWANA and the Arabic-speaking world, with a focus on female, gender-nonconforming, and trans artists.
