About three years ago we were introduced to 4 amazing young gentlemen, known as @whoisborderline , who instantly became like little brothers to us!! After lots of catch ups, dinners and post concert hangs @jonoboswell and @jaydenkeoghan were kind enough to reach out to @thefeelgoodservice about working on a record with the fellas! Fast forward to last year we had the boys come up to @studio91nz to lock in for some Jams, food and lots of laughs! 🤣 What started as this slight nod to the 80’s (With a fresh modern approach of course 😉) became something none of us could’ve imagined 🤯!! After those sessions We took the song to @roundheadstudios where the brother @nicmandersmusic and @gabrielaudio 🎚️put the final touches on it and the rest is history!! Big s/o to @augustavenuenz and @empire for believing and championing the record!! Super excited to see where these young men go & glad to be apart of the journey!! With more than 15 years of experience in the music industry, The Feel Good Service (Lucy & MoDre) bring a wealth of artistry spanning touring, session performance, songwriting, and music production. Having worked with some of the world’s biggest artists, composed original music for film and television (Netflix, BET, STARZ), and released their own solo projects, the duo has carved out a unique space focused on the revitalization of artist development and mentorship.
Over the past four years, they have collaborated with emerging artists worldwide, helping cultivate the next generation of creatives. Their mission is to inspire artists to create from an organic, authentic place while maintaining a strong commitment to excellence and artistic integrity.
Based in Auckland, The Feel Good Service is made up of Kiwi musician Lucy Graves and New York native Andre “MoDre” Brown — both accomplished co-writers, producers, and instrumentalists. Lucy has toured internationally as a keyboardist and backing vocalist for CeeLo Green and The Black Eyed Peas, opened for Lionel Richie, performed alongside Gwen Stefani, and written music for major artists as well as film and television. MoDre is a recipient of the prestigious Berklee College of Music Presidential Scholarship (awarded to just 10 students worldwide) and has appeared on The Today Show alongside Jennifer Lopez and Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jimmy Kimmel Live! with Jidenna, and in multiple performances for NPR’s iconic Tiny Desk Concert series.
Their new single, “Peace & Love,” delivers a vibrant, funky groove — blending soul, rhythm, and uplifting energy that captures the duo’s signature feel-good sound.
