Tracing the margins of techno, Lateshia (LTE) and Preacher’s Daughter channel their shared yearning to connect with their Afro-Caribbean and African ancestral rhythms. Together, they shape a closing set rooted in intensity and release, moving between hip-driving bass, percussive anchors, and mind-bending club energy to conjure a sapphic feral hour on the dancefloor.

We closed our eyes and dreamed up our very first DIY event: an intimate, sapphic-centered space for connection beyond the dance floor. Come for movement, rest, creation, and the feeling of being held in shared energy.

We can’t promise sleep… but we can promise you’ll leave more awake.

GENESIS arrives at @bossanovacivicclub for its debut.

A night rooted in minimal, hypnotic, and psychedelic techno, made for the club and the people in it. Long-form grooves, deep bass, and subtle movement draw the room together, letting momentum build naturally and carry the dancefloor forward. Designed for shared focus, continuity, and immersion from open to close.

We’d like to thank everyone that participated in our exploratory studies this year 🧫 Thank you to the mad scientists for their sonic potions, to friends and dancers for supporting our hypotheses, and to staff at the laboratories we’ve brought our lens to @bossanovacivicclub @moodringnyc @jupiter_discoIt takes an ecosystem to synthesize connectivity, and we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone that made this year’s Synapse possible 🧬

That being said, our next experiment is just around the corner… official announcement soon.

hello everyone!! join us on November 21st for a fundraver event for the Sameer Project and for a family in Gaza! at Jade Bar BK starting at 10pm, i will joined by wonderful djs @djnymph @1ateshia @princess.jalpari @deuxbatman @chief___neek @__l1n_h__ @jani3bug @h3pat1ca who will be playing a mix of techno, jungle, jersey club, and more for a night of dance!

entry at door is sliding scale starting at $5 ($10 recommended), and 100% of all funds collected will be donated to The Sameer Project and my friend Moataz and his family. Winter is approaching in Gaza, and Moataz needs our support more than ever to access blankets, heating, and tents that will be able to withstand the coming cold.

Artist Biosketch: Jalpari b2b LTE 🧬

Jalpari is a NC-born Indian-American musician based in Brooklyn, NY. While their artistic practice was sourced by the euphoric feeling of collective acoustic sound (orchestra), their artistry is currently sustained by the restorative nature of existing inside amplified sound. They were introduced to the transformative force of a proper sound system on dance floors in Hong Kong and Copenhagen, and moving to Brooklyn has opened their eyes to the deconstructive potential of a DJ set. Brooklyn’s rave ecosystem is teaching them that the DJ-2-Dancefloor energy circuit can recreate ancient forms of socializing that (nowadays) tend to only exist in the dark. Jalpari’s sets aim to activate this sacred space to give you something real you can blend into your journey when the lights turn on.

LTE synthesizes entropic sonic experiences by generating blends that coalesce cultures with nature and a genre-bending ethos. Whether it’s seamlessly mixing celestial electro, perky bass club, or hypnotic techno, LTE leaves minds enthralled by the left fielded nature of their DJ style. LTE creates a sacred, yet, pulsating atmosphere through their ceaseless sound evolution which resonates with the unapologetic ravers and the whimsical insurgents who populate her dance floors.
