TYRE LOUNGE
From the noise of the city to a space of calm.
TYRE LOUNGE is an installation about silence — not as absence, but as a personal refuge.
A place to slow down, disconnect, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.
Ephemeral space during @madriddesignf for @signusecovalor , the project transforms recycled tyre materials into an immersive lounge experience where sustainability, acoustic comfort, and digital fabrication meet.
Using recycled PET acoustic panels by @ecocero.acoustic and LOWPOLY’s innovative TyreX material made from recycled tyres, the space explores how waste can become warmth, quietness, and new forms of wellbeing.
A circular structure inspired by headphones embraces the space, creating a soft transition between the constant noise of everyday life and the intimacy of personal silence.
Less noise. More you.

Advanced 3D Printing with Grasshopper: Clay and FDM book enters a new chapter.
Originally self-published in 2020 during the pandemic, the book became a reference for designers, architects, and makers exploring custom 3D printing workflows and digital fabrication.
Now, in collaboration with Dashbook and a renewed edition is available for preorder during the next 45 days.
This is not a new book, it is the evolution of a project that continues growing with its community.

Visión &futuro.

Introducing “Tuftbot” project selected in the LAUDS Factory Open Call #2.
Tuftbot explores robotic tufting as a contemporary artistic practice, transforming discarded Alpine coarse wool into expressive textile works. By merging traditional textile knowledge with adaptive robotic processes, the project develops a mid-tech approach that expands creative possibilities, revalues regional materials, and connects cultural heritage with digital fabrication in sustainable and meaningful ways.
The project will be driven by the team at Landscape Choreography composed by Zoe Romano @zoescope_ , Eugenia Morpurgo @eugeniamorp, Emilia Gordini @emiliagordini, Federico Aldovisi @federicoaldovisi and Emanuele Braga @emanuele_brag in synergy with Gianluca Pugliese @im.gippi and Lowpoly Studio @lowpoly.studio
In collaboration with SUPSI FabLab @fablab_supsi.
Stay tuned for updates! 🌍

Back in 2016, Since the first time I watched Wide Open by @thechemicalbrothers and witnessed its groundbreaking blend of technology and transformation, I promised myself that one day I would turn that sensation into something tangible. Today, that promise stands in front of you.
I designed & digitally sculpted the large-format 3D-printed corset (only 700 grams) and helmet, starting from a 3D scan of my client’s body to capture exact measurements. An organic, bone-like exoskeleton that feels alive, and with the support of GianLuca Pugliese @lowpoly.studio the pieces came to life at full scale. Paired with the Marie Skirt by Ziyad Buainain @ziyadkb , creating a dialogue between structure and softness, digital precision and couture volume.
The ensemble is presented within Mahmiya, an art installation by Bouthayna Al Mouftah, in what became a beautifully spontaneous merging of worlds, a planned and unplanned collaboration that unfolded naturally, as if the space had been waiting for it.

The idea that coffee waste can become a new material for furniture and design pieces has been embraced by Nespresso, one of the most important interpreters of contemporary coffee culture.
For us, matter is the starting point, a vibration capable of creating emotions, atmospheres, and stories. It’s never an end in itself, it exists to serve emotion.
When we began working on this research, we had a clear goal: to create a material that was not only sustainable, but truly effective and aesthetically compelling, starting from an iconic waste like coffee grounds. We are extremely proud that Nespresso chose to collaborate with us to develop custom
furniture pieces using LOWIMPACT®, our proprietary technology based on a composite made of biopolymer and recycled coffee grounds.
It has been a complex and inspiring journey where computational design, advanced robotics, and
material innovation met the bold vision of a global brand.
We designed and 3D printed large-scale furniture elements with fluid geometries inspired by the material itself, fabricated using large scale 3D printers with a modified extrusion system, optimized to handle natural composites with precision. A project where architecture, material innovation, and the
future converge.
A special thanks to the Nespresso team!
