ROOTS TO REPAIR LAUNCH RECAP🙌

What a beautiful day we shared at the end of last year, for the emergence of Roots To Repair, in collaboration with Lovejam, the PRALER Fund Campaign and Thrive &Soul!

We came together to raise awareness for the PRALER Fund Campaign, and are proud to announce that we collected over £800 through our raffle, donations, tickets and stall of artesanal goods, in support of PRALER’s grassroots communities of resistance in the Majority World!🌍

And even more importantly, we grew our networks of connection by sharing together in music, dance, art and poetry, drawing from cultures of the Global South in order to uplift their stories and struggles. We heard messages on the ground from a women’smovement of indigenous workers in Peru, from the Toega Centre in Burkina Faso, and discussed how we can come together in internationalist solidarity.

Using art, music and living culture, Roots To Repair is here to bring people together to advance the movement towards planet repairs. We believe that uniting in this way holds immense power in spreading messages, cultivating hope, and allowing us to feel care and connection for the real lived experiences of the communities that we celebrate and draw from. ✊🏾

Huge shout out to everyone who joined us and shared their medicine, it was a deeply moving and inspiring day.

We are very excited to be bringing this movement to more festivals this coming season. Stay tuned for some big announcements…
