In January I flew to LA to make this music video for dancing queen @lillielala_music ‘s song ARROW. It is out now and you should go watch it. You should also put Lillie in your movie because she is an excellent performer and picked up @minimoroni ‘s Choreo insanely fast.
We filmed it in a parking lot owned by a family who were friends and neighbors of my grandmother for many decades. I remember watching Spirited Away at their house for the first time as a kid.
This was my first trip to LA since my grandma passed away, and the first time I’ve ever been to that city having no family left there. After we finished our shoot, I drove by her house of over 50 years to see it was being remodeled.

Also out today is a project that is very close to my heart. My dear friends @mermaid.band first sent me the demo of “PURR” in 2021- a song they wrote in the wake of George Floyd’s murder and the relentless feelings of scrolling through social media in the wake of tragedy. It was an honor to help them create a video to represent such a song. To combine horror, atrocity and doom with the feeling that you just have to keep dancing, keep swimming, keep scrolling, is something that so many people live with on a daily basis in today’s world. Thank you @brittanycampbellmusic and @candacequarrels for being who you are. I love you both so very much!!
