Reworking old work with new eyes. @erikch4r and @williamdobak made the trek with me to this gorgeous thousand oaks trail to photograph Erik in some of her designs. A year and a half later and this shoot is still one that I get giddy thinking about.
Returning to old work is such a great exercise in seeing how taste evolves. Upon a rework I found that I picked completely different selects and was inclined to take a totally different approach to the edit. The resulting images have a completely different impact than the originals.
I’m so excited to keep growing and expanding my taste as an artist and return to shoots I’m doing right now a few years down the line with a completely new set of eyes. Yay reflection!
